Our Team

Our team of professional and caring dentists and hygienists aim to provide a friendly service and exceptional dental experience to all our patients. Your long-term dental health is important to us at Highland Park Dental Centre.

DR BRENDAN FORDE

After graduating from University of Otago Dental School in 1982, Brendan worked as a clinical tutor for a year.  He then worked five years in a dental practice in Farnborough in the UK.

Brendan joined Sandra at Highland Park Dental Centre in 1990 and has been working there since, bringing new initiatives into the dental practice and enjoying all aspects of dentistry.

He has been part of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) board and an Auckland representative.  He is a current member of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) and Auckland Dental Association. (ADA)

Outside of dentistry he has many interests; including cycling, triathlons, skiing and tramping.

DR SANDRA FORDE

After graduating from University of Otago Dental School in 1982, Sandra spent five years working in England whilst travelling in her spare time.

Sandra opened Highland Park Centre in 1990. This practice has grown over the years to incorporate three dentists and a hygienist.

She practices  all aspects of general dentistry, to maintain a healthy mouth and also belongs to an implant study group.  She is a current member of New Zealand Dental Association. (NZDA).

Sandra and Brendan live locally; with three children whom are involved in a range of sports in the area.
Sandra enjoys skiing, travelling and exploring new places, walking the ‘Big Walks’ in beautiful NZ.

DR SHEREENA MOY

Shereena graduated from University of Otago Dental School with Credit in 1985.

She is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA) and joined Highland Park Dental Centre in 1992.

Shereena practices all aspects of general dentistry with the goal of helping patients to understand and maintain their individual oral health needs.

She also has an interest in periodontal treatment.

CLAIRE LONIE

Hygienist

Claire is a qualified dental hygienist who graduated from Guys Hospital Dental School in London, 1990.

She holds a current hygiene practicing certificate and has worked in both the UK and Auckland in general dental practices and in a specialist periodontal (implant) practice,  and is a current member of the New Zealand Hygiene Association.

Patients appreciate Claire’s friendly and gentle approach, and her up to date advice; to maintain and improve their oral health.

Claire originally came to NZ in 1996 and she now lives in Howick with her husband and twin daughters which keep her very busy.
